Woman's suspicious death probed in far north Queensland

Queensland Police

The sudden, suspicious death of woman whose body was found at a home in far north Queensland earlier this week is being investigated by police.

Detectives have declared a crime scene at the home where the 38-year-old woman was found dead in Cooktown about 5pm on Monday.

"Investigations are underway to determine cause of death," police said.
