Woman rushed to hospital after car flips in dramatic Bolton crash

A woman has been rushed to hospital following a dramatic crash in Bolton.

Images from the scene show a white 4x4 vehicle flipped over onto its roof on Chapeltown Road, in Bromley Cross.

The crash happened at around noon today (February 22), with firefighters, police and paramedics called to the scene.

A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said a woman in her 60s had been taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital after the crash.

She is not believed to have suffered serious injuries.

The car involved sustained heavy damage to its roof during the collision.

Police close off Chapeltown Road from noon for over an hour.

The MEN has approached Greater Manchester Police for more information on the incident.
