A woman was savagely beaten in a random horror St Patrick’s night attack and her family fears the shocking incident will scar her both physically and mentally.
Corina Flood (44), who is originally from Finglas, was returning back from a day trip to Dun Laoghaire with her daughter Nadine and two friends after celebrating the public holiday.
While they were on the DART, just before it pulled into Shankhill Dart Station at 7.55pm, a male, described as being stocky and in his 30s, approached Corina’s male friend and his girlfriend, offering cans of beer and drugs.
