However, one woman was left seething when her pal took it upon herself to announce the news of her pregnancy which she had only told close family and friends about on Facebook. Taking to Reddit, the mum-to-be confessed she was 'livid' after her friend uploaded an image of her baby shower invitation along with a congratulations message.
The expectant mother said she felt like her selfish friend had 'stole all of my joy' and she was furious that people she no longer kept in contact with from school and college knew about her private life. She wrote in an angry post: "My friend announced my pregnancy on social media. There's nothing I can do now, I am livid.
