New England family and wedding photographer named Jessica Maranda shared a series of TikTok videos describing why she left a Google review for her former OB’s office. In the first video, she said she wrote the review a few weeks earlier after what she alleged was negligent care during her time there. Maranda stated that her only goal was to share her story so that anyone considering care at that office could proceed with caution after reading about what happened to her.
She said she never planned to pursue litigation or an investigation. Maranda explained that she understood one person could have a positive experience while another could have a very different one, and she was simply recounting her own. According to her account, the hospital that oversees the OB’s office later called her. The person on the phone apparently told her they take such reviews seriously and that they “have to do an investigation”.
