The woman filmed having sex in front of hundreds of people in Concert Square has taken to social media to address her "mistake".
A number of different pieces of footage began circulating earlier this week appearing to show a man and a woman having sex and performing sex acts yards from the entrance of Einstein Bier Haus and in full view of bystanders. Other clips have also emerged showing the pair appearing to have sex on Bold Street and on a Merseyrail train service.
Earlier today Liverpool mayor Joanne Anderson slammed the behaviour as "damaging and criminal". Superintendent Diane Pownall, of Merseyside Police Liverpool Community Policing team, also shared a strongly worded statement on the incident and said the pair are 'wanted'.
