Woman fears boyfriend will dump her after accidentally ordering £260 steak on date

What is the most embarrassing dating faux-pas you have ever made? Whatever it is, you might feel comforted to know it is probably not as bad one major mishap that's currently got the internet talking. You see, one unfortunate woman made the mistake of a lifetime by accidentally ordering a $312 (£269) steak on a date. To make matters worse, her companion only spent $48 (£41) - but picked up the bill.

Luckily, she was on a date with her understanding boyfriend. You see, the pair had gone out to celebrate their two-year anniversary. But this didn't help calm the diner's nerves, as she feared her partner might dump her, according to her TikTok recounting the experience.

Posting as @ikingdani, Daniela shared the moment the pair received their bill in a video captioned: "Throwback to our 2 year anniversary."

The clip shows her shocked boyfriend examining the bill, before his hands start shaking - seemingly in jest - while he pays.

Meanwhile, a voiceover explains: "When he told you to get a wagyu sirloin but you accidentally get a regular 8oz wagyu. Oops.

"I thought he was going to break up with me."

The video has since racked up over four million views and thousands of comments from shocked viewers.

One person wrote: "He’s eating ramen noodles for the rest of the week."

And another joked: "You would’ve seen me clock in and start working."

The couple also hope they will be able to look back on the evening and laugh about it in the future.

When someone said: "Definitely wasn’t an accident," Daniela replied: "I walked out the restaurant crying ok."

And when someone responded: "So it only did you make him pay 300 but you embarrassed him and walked out the restaurant ruining the night," she added: "No he hold my hand while I was tearing up and told me we were going to laugh about it in a couple of months."
