A mum's finger was left badly dislocated when she tripped on a loose paving slab. Debbie Rees said she was lucky she had not hit her head in the fall in Maesteg.
The pavement, which has allegedly already been reported as a hazard, is located just by a pedestrian crossing, meaning it is frequently used by shoppers. Debbie was with her daughter Jemma when she fell.
Debbie, from Caerau explained: “We had been to Weatherspoons for coffee and we were on our way back to the car park. We were just walking ready to go around the corner by the Blue Pearl and that was the last thing I remember. I didn't hit my head, but I did hurt my shoulder, dislocated my finger and grazed my knees.”
