Woman discovers a camera pointed at her dressing room in mall: ‘They watched me get naked’

A woman says she discovered a security camera pointed at her in a dressing room in a mall in Modesto, California.

Nallely Valencia photographed herself and a camera, that appeared to be reflected in her dressing room mirror, and added to the photos to a now-viral TikTok.

Valencia uploaded the video with audio of an emergency siren, presumably to warn others who might reside in the Modesto area.

“I know I’m not trippen & this is absolutely not allowed,” she wrote in the caption. The TikTok has been viewed nearly 700,000 times.

In the video, Valencia circles the camera in red and writes, “You mean to tell me they watched me get naked?”

“Wow I’m so mad,” she continued. “I literally noticed when I was putting my clothes back on.”

Windsor responded to the TikTok, commenting, “We want to reassure you that this camera is from the previous brand and is not active. We’re also having it removed permanently.”

Valencia, however, was not convinced.

“This store has been there for a while now,” she wrote back to the brand. “And now you guys are getting rid of that camera for good. I call BS.”

Windsor issued a statement insisting that the privacy and safety their customers is “of the utmost importance.”

“We are committed to making our stores feel safe,” the brand wrote. “The camera in question was installed by a previous store tenant and was not active in any way since Windsor’s opening. We permanently removed the non-operational camera in question once it was brought to our attention and sincerely apologize for any concern this may have caused.”
