A young woman tragically died almost two weeks after she fell from a fire escape at a nightclub.
Katie Davenport, 23, fell from the fire escape at Hey Amigos nightclub in Southport at around 2.55am on Sunday, September 4. Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident where she was quickly rushed to hospital.
While at the hospital at The Walton Centre, the care home assistant "fought as hard as she could" before dying on Saturday, September 17. Tributes are now being paid to the young woman, with her sister Lianne and Cassie saying the "work-driven" 23-year-old was loved by everyone she knew.
