A woman has tragically died in the early hours of this morning at an East Renfrewshire train station.
Police were called to Barrhead train station shortly before 1am this morning after the tragic death of a 57-year-old woman.
Officers have confirmed that the incident is not being treated as suspicious.

A significant police presence was seen at the railway bridge over Carlibar Road.
A police spokesperson said: “We received a call at around 00.35am on Thursday, June 2, regarding concern for a person in Carlibar Road, Barrhead.
“Officers attended and a 57-year-old woman from the Barrhead area was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious but, as with all sudden deaths, a report is being sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
“Anyone who has information can call the police via 101, quoting incident number 0001 of June 2.”
