Woman cancels wedding after folder on fiancé's computer changed everything

Finding out that the person you love isn't who you thought they were can be devastating - especially if it's just three months before you're due to tie the knot.

This is what happened to Maria, as she revealed she pulled the plug on her "dream" wedding after she discovered the truth about her fiance.

The 25-year-old, who goes by the username @lifebymaria, revealed the tragic story on TikTok, reports Daily Star.

''Imagine being engaged, 3 months away from your dream wedding, invitations are sent, and on a random Thursday finding out your fiancé has been hiding a porn folder which included photos of your sisters and his co-workers," she wrote.

Since being posted, the video has gone viral, racking up more than 800,000 views,

After a huge response online, the woman went on to explain her situation further.

She claimed: "He was helping me apply for a job because my computer wasn’t working. He downloaded my resume to his work computer and went to his folder files to look where the files were downloaded.

"When he clicked on the folder file I saw photos of my sisters and others."

She called off the wedding soon after.

Many viewers were stunned by the woman's story and took to the comments to lend their support.

One person said: "Better than a divorce babe. Saved yourself."

Another commented: "This just happened to me this week… 2 months from wedding and found his Apple Watch with his escort texts still in it from last week. Devastating."

A third wrote: "I’m sorry, you dodged a bullet!!

Someone else wrote: "I’m so sorry you’re going through this. A similar thing happened to me too! Sending love."

Maria is using her TikTok as a place to document her feelings after the breakup of her relationship and is posting regularly about things that have helped "heal" her.
