A woman was attacked by an "aggressive" passenger on a train after taking a phone call.
British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault at Runcorn Station on March 4. The woman was speaking on the phone whilst sat on the train when a man in the same carriage began to shout at her in an aggressive manner.
When she challenged the man on his behaviour, he hit her around the head. Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image or has any information is being asked to contact police.

A BTP spokesperson said: "Do you recognise this man? Officers investigating an assault that took place on a train at Runcorn station are today releasing this image in connection.
"At 9.25pm on Friday 4 March a woman was speaking on the phone whilst sat on a train at Runcorn station. A man in the same carriage began to shout at her in an aggressive manner. When challenged by the victim, he hit her around the head."
