A woman has been left gobsmacked after finding the image of 'Jesus' in her cat's eye after watching him zone out. Wendy Grim, from Oregon, America, explained how she was cleaning her house when she noticed her seven-year-old cat blankly staring into space.
The 44-year-old walked towards her cat, named Dante, to see whether something was wrong - but was shocked to see the image of 'Jesus Christ' looking back at her.
With her cat having what appeared to be a 'religious experience', Wendy grabbed her phone to take a picture of the once-in-a-lifetime event. She said: "I couldn't quite believe it. Dante is really clingy and needs to make eye contact constantly. For him to make eye contact with Jesus is pretty something."
Wendy uploaded the photo to Facebook which has since racked up 2,200 likes - but social media users are torn on whether it looked like the son of God.
One person said: "No, it's totally Jesus."
"I always thought God would be a cat [laughing emoji]," another added.
A third joked: "I think your cat is looking at Cat Jesus."
"Cats do be sacred creatures.," said another.
While some believe it looks more like a badger than Jesus, others tried to break it to her that it's likely just her own reflection looking back at her.
One woman said: "I see Keanu Reeves."
A second added: "Looks more like a badger."
In agreement, another social media user added: "I see a honey badger."
"Looks like a bird’s face to me," one person pointed out.
Finally, one eagle-eyed person said: "It’s obviously just a reflection of you… Sorry to burst your bubble."
It comes after another woman claimed to have spotted what appeared to be an outline of Jesus staring back at her from the bottom of her meat feast Domino's pizza.
Kim Ellis, 33, from Cornwall, did a double take when she saw the outline in her pizza box and immediately took a snap to post online which has received hundreds of likes.
The outline she found in the pizza box eerily shows a clear head, eyes, flowing hair and even a beard.
Kim said: "My partner finished his first and popped the box down on top of the Pepsi cans. I was still eating mine.
"I just looked up and noticed a little face looking back at me and thought it was funny, that's when I snapped the picture.
"My first thought was Jesus because of the flowing hair and beard."
