A WOMAN has been arrested after a substance found on a lamppost caused an Edinburgh street to be locked down and two council workers taken to hospital.

A large-scale response by the emergency services was sparked on Thursday at around 2pm after two cleansing workers fell ill while removing an “unauthorised sticker” from a lamppost on Morningside Road.
