A woman was arrested after police spotted a Mini being driven with no front tyre, and with one of the back tyres 'just about hanging on'.
Traffic cops stopped the driver on Hale Road, in Hale, on Friday evening (February 17). The driver, a female, then provided a breath sample at the roadside of 82 - with the legal limit being 35.
She was arrested and later taken into custody, where police said she failed to provide a sample. No further details about the incident were given.
