Woman appears in court charged with murdering 'loving, doting' man found stabbed to death

A woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of a “loving, doting” man who was found stabbed to death.

Carrie McGuinness, 34, appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 21 charged with the murder of Steven John Davies. The body of Mr Davies, 39, was found was found by a neighbour just after 11am on June 15 at an address on Garth Avenue in Glyncoch, near Pontypridd.

McGuinness, of Ynys Close in Rhydyfelin, was remanded in custody and will appear again before Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday, June 22.
