Woman allegedly forced by Delta Airlines to check in camera at the gate. Shs soon finds equipment worth $14.5K destroyed: ‘Running it over with a truck’

A Nashville photographer recently discovered the hard way that even the most secure gear can be destroyed at the hands of airport baggage handlers. For Lauren Faith, this happened during a recent flight with Delta Airlines. As she claimed in the on-screen text of her post, “when @delta force you to check your carry on camera case at the gate because they ‘ran out of overhead bin space’ and the saxophones start getting louder.’

As a destination wedding photographer, Faith travels a lot and has one of the best camera cases in the industry. But, as she showed in a video with more than 9 million views on Instagram and TikTok, none of it survived. The footage began with a view from the airport window. Then came the montage of photos that showed the condition of her equipment. A case, camera, and lenses which were broken and wet.
