A woman has been killed following a horror car crash on the A76 in East Ayrshire yesterday which saw five people – including three young children – taken to hospital.
Police this morning confirmed the 67-year-old died at the scene of the two-vehicle smash between Crosshands and Crossroads around 12.15pm. Her next of kin have been informed.
She was driving an Audi Q3 which was involved in a collision with a grey Vauxhall Zafira.
