Woman, 24, dies just weeks after developing cold and flu symptoms

A 24-year-old woman with 'the biggest heart' died just weeks after developing cold and flu symptoms.

Bethannie Booth first started feeling poorly on March 2, WalesOnline reports. But the primary school worker's common symptoms quickly deteriorated, and she was rushed to hospital after struggling to breathe.

Doctors found her lung had collapsed as a result of a Strep A infection. Bethannie developed sepsis and after five weeks after fighting for her life in intensive care, tragically died on March 31.
