A young woman was left terrified after being approached by a creep as she waited for a bus in the dark in Paisley.
The 22-year-old was forced to seek help from members of the public after the man spoke to her as she was standing on Renfrew Road on Saturday night.
She had been waiting on a bus on the main road near to Brabloch Crescent in the town when the man - who was not known to her - appeared and began speaking with her.
The interaction left her so distressed and upset that she went seeking help from people nearby, with the suspect soon after walking away.
Police were contacted and have now launched an appeal in a bid to trace the man involved.

He is described as a white male aged 20 to 25 years old, of slim build, around 6ft tall, wearing a blue fluorescent puffa jacket and dark grey jogging bottoms.
Officers investigating the incident would like to speak with any members of the public who may have been in the vicinity of Renfrew Road a the time of the incident.
Inspector Laura Hamill, of Paisley’s community policing team said: “This was a distressing incident for the young woman involved.
“She was left shaken and upset by the interaction with this man, resulting in her seeking help from members of the public.
“We would ask that if any members of the public can assist with enquiries or were in the area of Renfrew Road near to Brabloch Crescent at the time this took place, please do get in touch with us.”
