The Gunners are looking to extend their lead at the summit to seven points by winning a game which has been brought forward a number of weeks due to the Carabao Cup final.

After a 1-1 draw with Brentford, Mikel Arteta’s side got back to winning ways on the weekend in the FA Cup, swatting Wigan aside 4-0 as Bukayo Saka trialled a new central position.

Wolves, meanwhile, are as good as down, with Rob Edwards’ men on nine points from 26 games.

They are 16 points from safety, and nine points adrift at the foot of the table.

It remains to be seen whether Arteta will rotate his side for this game, especially with such a big north London derby on the horizon at the weekend.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Wolves vs Arsenal is scheduled for an 8pm GMT kick-off tonight, Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

The match will take place at Molineux.

Wolves vs Arsenal team news

Toti Gomes and Hee-Chan Hwang are sidelined for Wolves through injury.

The club captain has not featured since the reverse fixture against Arsenal back in December and despite making good progress, Wednesday’s game comes too soon.

Hwang, meanwhile, is doing some individual work. Edwards has also revealed some players in the squad are “feeling it” following the FA Cup fourth round win over Grimsby.

Arsenal, have been handed double fitness boost with Arteta confirming Riccardo Calafiori and Ben White are available for selection.

However, captain Martin Odegaard, who took a knock to his knee at Brentford and missed the FA Cup clash, and Kai Havertz, who suffered a setback after his promising return from a knee injury, are both absent.

That said, the pair could return on Sunday for the north London derby away at Tottenham, while Mikel Merino might not play again this season after surgery.

Wolves vs Arsenal prediction

This can only go one way, especially if Arsenal have serious title ambitions.

They showed their free-scoring knack against Wigan in an easy victory at the weekend, but they struggled against a spirited Brentford last week.

How will Wolves fare? Will they show that same dogged determination that Brentford displayed?

If they don’t, it could be a tough evening for them.
