The Boston Celtics “are zeroing in on free agent (forward) Drew Peterson for a two-way contract” per new reporting from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Not THAT Drew Peterson, but the one who played at Rice and USC collegiately, and is currently with the G League’s Sioux Falls Sky Force.
A 6-foot-9 forward from Libertyville, Illinois, Peterson has been knocking down his 3-pointers 40.7% of the time with the Sky Force while putting up 15.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and a steal per game in 33.8 minutes of floor time per game. Per Woj, the USC alum’s representation has confirmed the interest of the Celtics in bringing on Peterson for the team’s open two way player slot, with the interest reciprocated by the Illinois native.
Check out this breakdown of his game in the video below to get to know his game better.
