David Dunn was gutted to see his side crash out of the West of Scotland Cup to Kello Rovers on penalties, as he felt his side should have been out of sight by half-time.
Stevie McGurgan's first-half strike was cancelled out by Andrew Heaney's equaliser for Kello to force the first round tie to a penalty shootout, which Kello won 4-3.
And Dunn was left to rue his side's finishing after feeling they had dominated the game at the Beltane.
He said: "I was actually happy with the performance and on another day I think we would have won quite comfortably.
"We missed a lot of chances and the longer the game went on, it was probably in the back of the players' minds it was only 1-0.
"We missed a good few chances.
"Our striker Ewan Herriott went round the goalkeeper twice and hit the man on the line twice.
"They were good opportunities but you can't ask for much more.
"He's gone round the goalie twice and hit the target twice. One of them hit their boy in the face, that's our luck.
"I can't fault the boys. They stood up to take penalties and we've missed a couple. It's a lottery.
"But the performance was so much better this week. We went back to the shape we had at the start of the season and we are looking more solid.
"On another day, I think we could have been four or five up at half-time.
"There's a good feel around training and match days again and I can take a lot out of it.
"It's not a defeat, it's a draw, but we are out of the cup."
Wishy now host third-place Craigmark on league business in the West of Scotland Second Division on Saturday, kick-off 1.30pm.
Dunn, whose side are 14th with games in hand over their rivals, said: "I've got great faith in the squad and I think we should be up there with these sort of teams.
"Not a lot has gone for us so far this season, but we are getting players back.
"We need to start getting points. Craigmark are doing well but we are at home.
"These are the games you need to win if we are going to get up the table."
