A Wishaw couple are aiming to raise thousands for a charity close to their hearts - and win their dream wedding at the same time.
Natalie Fleming and Sean McCluskey are into the final four of Go Radio’s Dream Wedding competition.
The winning couple will receive an all expenses wedding thanks to Citation in Glasgow.
However, in order to win the top prize Natalie and Sean have to raise the most money for their chosen charity - Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Natalie and Sean have already raised £2000 thanks to their JustGiving page but are aiming to raise even more ahead of the competition closing on March 11.
Natalie said: “Two of my cousins suffer from muscular dystrophy and you can see how much of an impact the condition has on their daily lives.
“For us it was the perfect opportunity to raise some money for a great cause.
“I work at University Hospital Wishaw and my team there has been really supportive.
“We are having a fundraising tea and raffle while Sean’s work at Eurocentral are also having an event.
“Sean also does some singing and we are hoping to raise some money when he sings at Avant Garde in Glasgow and Dalziel Park on Saturday night.”
Natalie, 29, and 31-year-old Sean have been together for 15 year,s having met while they were still at school.
The couple got engaged in Amsterdam five years ago and had started to plan their big day only for the pandemic to hit.
Natalie added: “I think we got engaged on our 10 year anniversary so Sean would remember!
“It’s pretty amazing to get to the final and if we were able to win the wedding of our dreams it would be incredible.”
