Winning return to the ring for Dumbarton boxer Martin Harkin

Dumbarton boxer Martin Harkin said it felt great to be back in the ring after defeating Ukrainian Vitalii Maksymiv in Glasgow.

Harkin featured as the main event at St Andrew’s Sporting Club’s rearranged Burns Night event at Glasgow’s Radisson Blu hotel earlier this month, entering the ring for the first time since suffering only his second defeat to Kaisee Benjamin live on Channel 5 in a British welterweight championship eliminator last May.
