The winners of the BathLive Business Awards 2022, sponsored by Truespeed, have been announced at a special event at Bath Pavilion.
The ceremony, run in association with SomersetLive and The Bath Chronicle newspaper, returned on Thursday evening (September 29) after a three-year break, to recognise the achievements and resilience of the local business community.
The event was hosted by ITV weather reporter Emma Jesson while former soldier and star of Channel 4's SAS: Who Dares Wins Colin Maclachlan gave a keynote speech.
Digital design firm Storm Consultancy was named Business of the Year, with the company’s co-founders David Kelly and Adam Pope jointly receiving the award for Business Person of the Year.
Broadband provider Truespeed scooped the prize for Large Business of the Year, while toys and books company Curious Universe was crowned SME Business of the Year.
Bath Rugby won the accolade of Best Place to Work, while Eddie Illic - who started up the Eddie’s Street Cuts community project after recovering from an alcohol and drug addiction - won a public vote to be recognised with the Outstanding Contribution to Bath Award.
