LONDON: Ben Shelton is a striking figure on any tennis court, but on Wimbledon's manicured lawns - soft on the legs, but dicey for the back - the American makes a compelling cut.

The 21-year-old is 6 ft 4' if you discount the crown of black-brown curls that is held together by an 80s-style headband, silhouetting the strapping figure with a couple of extra inches.
