A second series of The Traitors is a "no-brainer", according to an inside television source.
The debut series has just wrapped, crowning Hannah, Meryl and Aaron as its winners. After several weeks of lies and betrayal, the BBC's new runaway show had viewers hooked from the moment it launched.
Several of the contestants became massive stars with viewers - Amanda, Andrea and Maddie - whilst others ruffled feathers for their silver tongues and harsh accusations. After everything, there are already questions as to whether or not the show is up for renewal.

A source speaking to the Daily Star said: "The Traitors has become a big hit after just a few weeks. It was a no-brainer to commission another series.
“Everyone is hoping it will be even more popular by next year and become one of the biggest shows on TV.” Claudia Winkleman hosts the show where she's shown off a darker more "brutal side" of her character, far removed from her chirpier Strictly Come Dancing persona.
The insider added: "Claudia absolutely loves the show and thinks it’s a brilliant format. It’s basically a done deal that she’ll be back."
