The Jets have their top draft pick under contract, finally. Per Connor Hughes of SNY, Iowa State edge rusher Will McDonald IV, the 15th overall pick of the 2023 draft, signed his rookie contract just as the team is set to report to Florham Park for training camp Wednesday.

According to Spotrac, the contract is projected to be a four-year deal with a fifth-year option worth about $16.3 million with a signing bonus of about $8.9 million and a 2023 cap hit just under $3 million.
With McDonald signing, the Jets have just one remaining unsigned draft pick, second-round pick center Joe Tippmann. That should get done very soon.
