Will Levis gets valuable advice from Tom Brady over lunch

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis and other rookie signal-callers had lunch with future Hall of Famer Tom Brady on Thursday in which Brady doled out some advice for the players.

The lunch was hosted by Fanatics and included the Carolina Panthers’ Bryce Young, the Indianapolis Colts’ Anthony Richardson and the Houston Texans’ C.J. Stroud.

Thanks to Peter Schrager of NFL Network, we did get a clip of Brady speaking to the group. Here’s some of what he had to say to the young quarterbacks:

“Going in the second round, in the end, that’s not really that big of a deal,” Brady said. “Going first overall, in the end, it’s not a big deal. It’s great, you got an opportunity, you’re probably going to be paid more than anyone for a time period, but I was drafted 199 and I just outlasted everybody.”

“There’s another me back there, right? So, how do I keep my edge on everybody? I had to keep working,” Brady added. “I didn’t go, ‘hey, I’m good, right? I won three Super Bowls, I’m good.'”

After the lunch, Levis tweeted, “A career’s worth of advice in a couple of hours. Can’t thank you and everyone else involved enough!”
