Christian McCaffrey injury update
McCaffrey has been bothered by Achilles tendinitis. He went to Germany for treatment hoping to find a way to get himself back on the field. The 49ers went 4-4 in his absence.
“He’s been awesome these last 2 days. Hopefully that continues to go well. I expect to get him out there.”

How long has Christian McCaffrey been out?
McCaffrey has missed the entire season to date. He did not play n the preseason, either.

In his place, Jordan Mason has 685 rushing yards. Rookie Isaac Guerendo has 227 rushing yards. They are both behind McCaffrey.
