Updates give the tech firm a chance to correct glitches and keep the device secure from new threats. The latest update fixes a major concern around people’s personal security on their iPhones which could have had serious issues.
Your iPhone or iPad will prompt you whenever a new update is available, many of which come with new features or Emoji launches. This was not true for the iOS 15.6.1 update, which simply read: “This update provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.”
