PSV Eindhoven have been given a huge fine from UEFA in light of fan behaviour in their clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday, October 20. Travelling support tore up and threw chairs from the away end, while flares were also thrown from the section.
Just a day later PSV were charged by UEFA and have since been handed their punishment amounting to a fine at the cost of €40,000 (£34,500). A portion of that fine is set to be received by the Gunners to deal with the damages caused by their opposition from the game.
The Eredivisie club are also banned from selling away tickets for their clash against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in their final Europa League match. They now have 30 days to pay their portion of the fine to Arsenal after UEFA put out a statement on the incident on Thursday, October 27.

The statement reads: "UEFA Europa League group stage match between Arsenal FC and PSV Eindhoven (1:0), played on 20 October in London. Decision: To fine PSV Eindhoven €40,000 and to ban PSV Eindhoven from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next one (1) UEFA competition match, for throwing of objects, crowd disturbances and acts of damages.
"To order PSV Eindhoven to contact Arsenal FC within 30 days for the settlement of damages caused by its supporters, i.e. for the damaged seats."
The Gunners make the reverse trip to Eindhoven on Thursday night, where a win will confirm them as winners of Group A and means they would avoid the possibility of playing another match in the playoff rounds against a side dropping down from the Champions League. It could prove to be a huge clash for the side, who are already facing a daunting fixture schedule ahead of them.
