Psychology says people who have a small library at home aren't collecting books for display: What the behavior reveals?

Psychology says people who have a small library at home aren't necessarily less interested in books or knowledge. The number of books kept on a shelf does not provide a direct measure of how much a person reads or knows. A small library can result from selective choices, limited living space, digital reading habits or a preference for keeping only books that have a practical or personal purpose. A home library can also show how a person uses books. Some people collect books as objects, while others keep books that they have read, are reading or expect to use. The difference is linked to how people organize their surroundings and decide which possessions deserve space in their homes.
