ICE agent caught on video pulling gun on woman for exercising her First Amendment rights

A woman in Northern Virginia was left looking down the barrel of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer’s gun after she shouted profanities at the federal agents while they were conducting immigration enforcement.

The woman, Carolina Molina, was driving around a parking lot in Falls Church Monday afternoon when law enforcement officers cornered her vehicle and confronted her – accusing Molina of trying to run them over.

In cellphone footage shared on social media, one ICE agent pointed his firearm directly at Molina, accusing her of following the agents around and trying to run them over.

“You need to stop following us. This is your warning… You almost ran us over,” the agent shouted at her.

Molina disputed the allegations, calling the officer “full of s***.” She later shared dashcam video from her vehicle, which showed her first driving past the federal agent’s car and then attempting to drive in front of it before being stopped.

The Independent has asked the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement for comment.

Molina, a licensed counselor who works with immigration lawyers to conduct psychological evaluations, said she was driving in the area to drop off her business cards at lawyers’ offices when she saw the federal agents.

According to the shared dashcam video, Molina rolled down her window and shouted at them as she passed federal agents, who were stopped at an intersection.

“You’re a hoe, you’re f***ed up,” Molina said.

Molina continued to drive around the parking lot but decided to turn around. She said she chose to do so because she didn’t want the ICE agents following her into the immigration lawyer’s office in the event an immigrant was inside.

Once Molina turned around, she passed federal agents’ vehicle again. This time, as she attempted to make a left turn, the agents pulled their car in front of her – stopping her from continuing her ride. Another law enforcement vehicle pulled up behind Molina, preventing her from leaving.

That’s when a masked agent got out of the car and approached Molina on the driver’s side door, wielding his firearm. Molina began recording with her cellphone.

The agent shouted at Molina: “Are you following us?” to which she responded: “No, I’m not.”

“You need to stop following us,” the agent continued. “This is your warning.”

He added: “You almost ran us over.”

Molina responded: “I didn’t almost run you over. You’re so full of s***.”

The agent yelled back: “Stop playing. Alright? You’re not funny. I will arrest you; keep it up.”

Molina told officers she was a U.S. citizen and told them she had dashcam footage of the incident. Eventually, the agents returned to their vehicle and allowed Molina to leave.

“I know my laws,” Molina told WUSA9. “I’m an American citizen. I have the right. I have my First Amendment rights. I can say what I want and I don’t feel like I should have a gun pointed to my head because you didn’t like being called a hoe.”

A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement, shared on social media by Molina, that ICE was conducting “targeted immigration enforcement” against undocumented immigrants with criminal charges of hit and run and well as drug trafficking.

“An anti-ICE agitator began to drive her car in circles around our ICE officers and then attempted to harm officers by weaponizing her vehicle against them in an attempt to help illegal aliens get away.”

“Fearing for their safety, ICE officers conducted a vehicle stop of the driver. Necessary background information of the driver was taken and she could face criminal prosecution as a result of her actions.”
