Why London is shaping Sydney's protest slogan debate

The criminalisation in London of a controversial slogan shouted at pro-Palestine protests has been cited by a leader wanting the same ban on Australian shores.

The UK capital's Metropolitan Police, backed by London Mayor Sadiq Khan, have been empowered to arrest demonstrators chanting or holding a placard bearing the words "globalise the intifada".
