Why isn't Tom Daley competing in the 10m diving final? Start time and how to watch Olympic 2024 event

The lineup for the men’s 10m platform diving competition at the 2024 Olympics has been confirmed.

Noah Williams and Kyle Kothari will both be competing for Team GB after making it through this morning’s semi-final.

China are once again the nation to beat, having dominated every diving event at these Games.

Tom Daley, who won silver with Williams in the 10m synchro, is not involved however.

Here is all you need to know in the final event of the diving at the Olympic Games in Paris.

When is the 2024 Olympics 10m platform diving final?

The final is set to begin at The Aquatics Centre at 2pm BST. There are 12 divers who will compete, including Williams and Kothari.

Why isn’t Tom Daley competing?

Daley won 10m platform bronze at London and Tokyo, before calling time on his career in the aftermath of the 2020 Games. However, he decided to make himself available for selection in July as he earned a call-up to the 10m synchro team, alongside Noah Williams.

Williams was pencilled in for both the individual and team events but Daley was only available for the synchro, such was the speedy nature of his retirement U-turn.

Teams can only pick two athletes for the individual events and Kyle Kothari was picked for the individual platform alongside Williams.
