Why 'gender row' in Paris Olympics boxing refuses to die down despite IOC's defence

The ongoing gender row in boxing at the Paris Olympics continues to make headlines, despite the International Olympic Committee (IOC) stepping in to support the two athletes at the center of the controversy—Algeria's Imane Khelif (66kg welterweight) and Taiwan's Lin Yu-ting (57kg featherweight).

Both boxers have now advanced to the semi-finals, securing medals in their respective categories.
