Gabriel Martinelli has promised that he will never get tired of playing for Arsenal following Sunday's 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace.
Goals from Martinelli, Granit Xhaka and a Bukayo Saka brace secured the north Londoners all three points in a crucial Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium, meaning they now lead second-placed Manchester City by eight points going into the international break. After the full-time whistle, Martinelli took to social media to deliver a heartfelt message to the Gunners faithful, claiming that he thoroughly enjoys playing for Mikel Arteta's men.
“I’ll never get tired of playing for this badge,” he wrote on Twitter alongside a heart and fist emoji. It was a perfect response from the Brazilian international following his Europa League disappointment on Thursday when he missed a crucial penalty during his side's shootout defeat to Sporting CP.

“Of course, I was sad and spent the whole night thinking about that penalty but it is over", the 21-year-old revealed when he was discussing his spot-kick frustrations. "I scored a goal today and we got the three points, the most important thing.”
Martinelli has enjoyed a stellar campaign personally, netting 13 times in the Premier League, a tally that only Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, Ivan Toney and Marcus Rashford have bettered.
