Why are MSPs wearing green badges at FMQs?

MANY people noticed Humza Yousaf as well as other party leaders wearing a badge at today’s FMQs.

Anas Sarwar, Alex Cole-Hamilton and Douglas Ross could be seen wearing the same pin.

But what are they for?

What are the badges for?

The badges are for Mental Health Awareness Week which is taking place this week.

This year the theme is anxiety and the pin to represent the week is a small green ribbon which Yousaf, Sarwar and Cole-Hamilton and Ross could be seen wearing.

On the website for Mental Health Awareness Week, a statement reads: “Anxiety is a normal emotion in us all, but sometimes it can get out control and become a mental health problem.”

The website can be accessed HERE where there is also advice for anyone struggling with mental health issues.
