Millions will once again be watching a host of celebrities and famous footballers taking part in the annual Soccer Aid fundraiser. The football match takes place on Saturday night and among those taking part is singer-songwriter Tom Grennan.
Tom will be playing for the England XI alongside the likes of Liam Payne, Gary Neville, Russell Howard and Joe Cole.
The Bedford-born singer-songwriter, 27, first found fame after starring as the guest vocalist for Chase & Status' hit single "All Gone Wrong." He was encouraged to start performing after his friends were impressed at a house party where he sang along to The Kooks' "Seaside".
After studying acting at St. Mary's University in London, he started doing gigs around London at 18 and after a few years, was offered a contract from Insanity Records.

Tom has had two studio albums and three EPs with his debut album "Lighting Matches" achieving a Gold rating after peaking at number five on the UK Charts. His follow-up album Evering Road reached number one after it was released in March 2021.
He has been nominated for many awards including the MTV awards and the Pop Awards for Emerging Artist of the Year in 2019. Tom was nominated for two Brit Awards in 2022 - for Song of Year for Little Bit of Love and for Best Rock/ Alternative Act.
Earlier this year Tom was beaten and robbed after a performance in Manhattan. He suffered a ruptured ear and torn ear-drum and postponed an upcoming show in Washington, D.C.
Now in its 11th year, donations from Soccer Aid go to Unicef with money used to help give kids the best start in life.
Soccer Aid for Unicef 2022 is taking place at the London Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. The fixture has moved back to its summer date after taking place in September last year due to delays caused by the Covid pandemic.
Kick off is 7:30pm though the show starts a little earlier with plenty of build-up to the big match. Those who can't get to the match can watch it on ITV on Sunday, June 12, from 6.30pm.
