Rory McIlroy is as well-placed as he's ever been to end his eight-year major drought this week at The Open in St Andrews.
He is playing some of the most consistent golf of his career and has won at The Canadian Open as well as performing well at each of the three majors so far this season.
Regardless of how he fares though, he will have his wife and child cheering him on and welcoming him home when he does return to his Florida mansion.

He first met wife Erica back at the 2012 Ryder Cup in Medinah. She was working as a PGA official at the time and was dispatched to wake him up after he'd overslept and almost missed his tee time.
Despite Erica's heroics, the couple didn't begin dating until 2015, when McIlroy decided to call off his engagement to Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki.
The couple had just sent out their wedding invitations when he decided he wasn’t ready for marriage.
In 2015, McIlroy planned a romantic proposal to Erica in Paris in December.
The couple had their wedding at the stunning five-star Ashford Castle in Cong, Co. Mayo, in April 2017.
Many celebrity friends turned up for the event, including Niall Horan and Coldplay's Chris Martin.
To top it all off, music legend Stevie Wonder and pop sensation Ed Sheeran also performed at the wedding.
McIlroy has described his wife, who is a New York native, as a ‘great influence’ and a ‘low-key person’ that brings a ‘calming presence’ to his life.
They welcomed daughter Poppy into their lives back in August 2020.
Career earnings
The Down man has established himself as one of the greatest golfers of all time and is estimated to be worth almost €192 million.
McIlroy purchased a luxury mansion in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, in 2012 for a whopping $10 million.
The home spans over an impressive 12,800 square feet and has seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms.
It also has a stunning pool, cinema and games room perfect for relaxing after some stressful tournaments.
