Malcolm Connolly was personal security to Johnny Depp for around 23 years and has just given his testimony during the star's $50 million libel trial with ex wife Amber Heard.
Malcolm began his working life in Glasgow as an apprentice Bricklayer in 1976, and went on to work in most of the pubs and clubs across the city as door supervisor around 1983 - where he says he quickly learned diplomacy and civility.
