Love Island contestant Anna-May Robey will burst onto screens on Monday, January 16 when the winter edition of the dating show lands on ITV2 and ITVX. Anna-May is the youngest cast member in the original line-up and will be flying the flag for Wales.
The Islander, who describes herself as "energetic" and a "chatterbox", has joined the show to find a boyfriend who can make her laugh. She said: "I've been single for quite a while, my mother is bugging me, she's like, 'You need to find a boyfriend.' I'm just excited to try something new and I think going on Love Island is a good way to meet someone."
The Swansea-born star plans to bring fun to the villa and said she's always up for a laugh. She explained: "if someone tells me to go and dive in the pool I will probably do it," she said. "I'll bring energy to the villa, I'll get everyone up playing games! I'm also not afraid to get in someone's way; if I like someone, I'll let them know."

But how old is Anna-May, what does she do for a living and how can you follow her on social media? Here are all the details.
Who is Anna-May Robey?
Anna-May is a 20-year-old payroll administrator from Swansea. The Islander, who usually works from home, said her friends and family would describe her as energetic.
She said: "I'm always running around singing and screaming. My parents are always like, ‘Shut up!’ I work from home all day so I don’t really speak to people in person for two or three days a week, so when my father comes home, he’ll want to sit down and chill out, and I’m there chewing his ear off! I would definitely say I am a chatterbox."
In fact, Anna is such a chatterbox her date once fell asleep at the table, she explained: "I went on a date once and I never saw him again. We went for food and shared a bottle of wine. As I was speaking to him he fell asleep! I had to clink his wine glass to wake him up."
Asked whether she falls in love quickly, Anna said: "Quickly - and I become obsessed with someone when they don’t like me. But, when they start giving me the attention that I want I’m not interested anymore."
Is Anna-May Robey on Instagram?
Anna-May is on Instagram under the handle annamayrobey, however, her profile will remain dormant while she is in the villa. Usually, family members and friends take over the contestants' accounts while they are on the show, but the broadcaster has confirmed that nothing will be published on the Islanders' behalf this year.
The change is part of Love Island's duty of care measures and aims to protect both the islanders and their families from the adverse effects of social media. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
