The video quickly spread across social media and drew attention from park officials, who said the stunt broke important safety rules. According to Cedar Point and its parent company Six Flags, loose items, including food, are not allowed on rides because they can create safety risks for riders and people nearby.
The incident happened after Ferrell uploaded a video showing himself sneaking a 10-piece box of chicken nuggets onto Millennium Force, a roller coaster that stands 310 feet tall and reaches speeds of about 93 mph. During the ride, he ate several nuggets and even attempted to use dipping sauce while the coaster was moving. The video gained widespread attention online, but it also caught the attention of Cedar Point officials.
