Phillip Schofield has presented This Morning for more than 20 years, but how much longer he'll be on the show remains to be seen.
After reportedly falling out with his co-star Holly Willoughby, 42, the father-of-two, 61, is said to have hired lawyers and a PR guru to protect his brand.
However, we revealed ITV bosses would be prepared to sack Phil from his role on the shows he and Holly co-present should viewers notice their "chemistry" had changed.
ITV have a number of seasoned stars waiting in the wings to host This Morning, who have all co-presented the show before.
So as we wait to find out Phil's fate, here's a look at the presenters who could be sitting on the sofa with Holly.
Alison Hammond
Big Brother star Alison Hammond is a fan favourite on This Morning and stepped in for Phil while he took time off during his brother's trial.
Alison, who presents the Friday shows alongside Dermot O'Leary, has a great chemistry with Holly and viewers seem keen on the possibility of an all-female line-up.
PR expert Nick Ede told Closer there was a chance the bubbly Brummie could take over from Phil, noting "the combo of Alison and Holly recently proved very successful."
Joel Dommett
BAFTA host Joel admitted he was 'really nervous' when he presented the show in March, however fans loved him.
The Masked Singer presenter fronted the show with Holly as fans took to Twitter to congratulate his debut.
One wrote: "Loving @joeldommett with @hollywills today! You gotta give him something permanent @thismorning He’s natural, real & funny."
While a second said: "Petition to get @joeldommett a permanent spot on #thismorning - I've not laughed like this at This Morning in a long time!"
Dermot O'Leary
Dermot has presented This Morning for years alongside Alison and Holly and is said to be a shoo-in for Phil's job if he leaves.
The former Big Brother presenter certainly knows the ropes, but fans may want a change, giving a less seasoned a host a shot at the role.
Speaking about the possibility of Dermot taking over from Phil, a source told The Sun: "He is a good friend to Holly so naturally she would be thrilled if they were able to work together more often."
Marvin Humes
Marvin's wife Rochelle often steps in for Holly and has presented the show with her JLS husband a number of times.
The father-of-three previously said he had no plans to return to present This Morning alongside his wife again, though he teased "never say never" about the possibility.
Speaking to Heat magazine, he said: "Never say never, but that's sort of Roch's family now – it's her thing and it kind of makes sense for it to be how it is."
Craig Doyle
Craig has been given main presenting duties on This Morning over the last year, teaming up with Alison, Rochelle and Josie Gibson.
In March he earned praise from viewers after 'welling up' during the St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Ireland.
Following the show fans took to Twitter begging ITV to make Craig and Big Brother star Josie a permanent fixture, with one writing: "It must be time for Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle to take over the reigns at This Morning permanently."
Josie Gibson
Big Brother star Josie has been a firm favourite with fans since she first fronted the show alongside Phillip in Holly's absence.
Speaking about hosting the show over the half-term in February, she told the Manchester Evening News: "I'm back on This Morning for half term with Derm and I’m completely honoured.
"Whenever I’m sitting there hosting the show, I often look around and think ‘how the hell did this happen to me?’".
Rochelle Humes
The Saturday's star has stepped in for Holly previously and could bag a seat next to her permanently on the sofa.
While the women have never presented together, Rochelle often hosts with Phil in Holly's absence.
Whether ITV will choose an all-female line-up remains to be seen, but the broadcaster has certainly got plenty of presenters to choose from.
