As the cost of living continues to rise, many have started to notice day-to-day groceries have seen a sharp spike in their cost. Earlier this month there was a public outcry when the cost of Lurpak hit £8 a tub, forcing some supermarkets to reportedly use security tags to stop butter theft.
It now seems coffee is the next product to face a backlash. One SurreyLive reporter went to her local Co-op and was blown away by the fact a large jar of Nescafe Original was priced at £8.75.
