Manchester United are confident of reaching an agreement with Alejandro Garnacho as talks continue over a new contract following his impressive breakthrough season.
The 17-year-old is set to receive a new deal which will reflect his growing stature at the club on the back of a campaign in which he guided United to victory in the Youth Cup and made his first-team debut.
Garnacho also received a call-up to the Argentine national side and is now considered a potential wildcard selection for their World Cup squad in Qatar at the end of the year.
