Let’s start with what Liberty is and where it’s located: It’s a university located in Lynchburg, Virginia that was founded in 1971 by Dr. Jerry Falwell, who also founded the Thomas Road Baptist Church. So how did Willis end up there? He ended up at Auburn for two seasons, but because he was behind Jarrett Stidham, he decided to transfer and, in an ESPN.com story, he didn’t know a lot about Liberty.
